📋 Description

• Processing accounts payable invoices, including reviewing invoices for accuracy, coding expenses to the proper general ledger accounts, and preparing payments. • Ensuring accounting transactions are processed timely, accurately, and in accordance with company policies. • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies. • Recording cash receipts, customer billing follow-up, and accounts receivable tracking as needed. • Preparing and processing monthly customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company procedures. • Processing employee expense reports, including reviewing receipts, verifying compliance with company policy, and ensuring proper coding. • Preparing journal entries as part of the monthly close process. • Assisting with payroll processing, including reviewing timesheets, preparing payroll, and supporting payroll-related reconciliations. • Assisting with general ledger account reconciliations. • Supporting month-end and year-end close activities. • Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. • Assisting with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment. • Experience preferably in order of accounts payable, invoicing, expense reports, journal entries, and payroll support. • Strong understanding of general accounting principles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliations. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to handle confidential payroll, employee, vendor, and financial information. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve discrepancies. • Experience using accounting or ERP systems; Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus.
