📋 Description

• Review incoming patient referrals and assess them against facility admission criteria. • Process referrals promptly, ensuring turnaround times are met, as referrals are often sent to multiple facilities simultaneously. • Complete back-end admission processes following clinical approval, including: • Insurance verification • Medication reviews • Authorization processing • Compile completed documentation into admission packets and upload them into the system to finalize admissions. • Liaise closely with U.S.-based teams to resolve queries and ensure referrals progress without delays. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system. • Support daily admission conversions while meeting required turnaround times and quality standards. • As you become established in the role, receive training to progressively review and interpret patient charts, including therapy notes, nursing notes, assessments, evaluations, and other clinical documentation to support future admission decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience within healthcare administration, patient coordination, medical administration, admissions, insurance verification, referral coordination, or a similar healthcare support role. • Comfortable reading and interpreting medical documentation, clinical notes, patient histories, or healthcare records. • Experience verifying medical insurance, obtaining authorizations, or coordinating patient admissions will be highly advantageous. • Previous exposure to a hospital, rehabilitation facility, skilled nursing facility, long-term care environment, medical practice, or healthcare organization is highly advantageous. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook. • Previous admissions or referral coordination experience within a medical facility, hospital, rehabilitation centre, or skilled nursing facility would be highly advantageous.
