📋 Description

• Monitoring incoming transport requests across multiple digital channels and claiming runs within operational capacity • Loading and managing confirmed runs accurately within the dispatch system • Communicating via phone and online radio (VoIP) with transport teams • Prioritising competing requests and making quick, sound decisions under pressure • Identifying and flagging capacity issues before they become problems • Maintaining accurate records with critical attention to detail • Confirming pick-up and drop-off details before dispatching a run • Tracking units in real time and updating statuses as runs progress • Communicating delays, cancellations, or route changes promptly to relevant parties • Handling shift handovers with clear, accurate notes for incoming dispatchers

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in a dispatch, medical transport, emergency services, or similar high-volume coordination role • Comfortable managing multiple digital channels simultaneously (portals, email, messaging platforms, phone) without losing track of priorities • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly • Strong attention to detail, particularly when entering or verifying data under time pressure • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Calm, level-headed, and able to prioritise effectively when handling competing requests • High level of integrity and accountability • Resilient and emotionally steady — exposure to medical transport scenarios is part of the environment • Previous experience in the healthcare or medical transport industry will be an advantage • Experience working with a CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) system will be an advantage
