📋 Description

• Architect and guide the design of secure, scalable network solutions across multi-cloud and on-prem environments. • Define and implement enterprise network security frameworks, policies, and standards. • Apply Zero Trust architecture principles, threat modeling, and security design patterns to enterprise solutions. • Provide architectural oversight for VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and advanced cloud-native security solutions. • Integrate automation and DevOps practices into enterprise networking and security operations. • Serve as a senior advisor to leadership, shaping long-term security strategies and technology roadmaps. • Collaborate with OIT stakeholders and senior management to ensure solutions meet mission and compliance requirements. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams, ensuring proper handoff from design to implementation. • Contribute to modernization initiatives including digitization, cloud migration, Zero Trust adoption, and software-defined networking.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in network and cloud security engineering/architecture. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred; Advanced degree, preferred. • Proven expertise in: Network security design/architecture in multi-cloud environments • Cloud security frameworks and automation • Zero Trust architecture and enterprise threat modeling • VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud-native security solutions • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders and guiding enterprise-level projects. • Demonstrated ability to define security strategies that balance innovation, risk management, and compliance. • Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability clearance.
