📋 Description

• Lead our most complex customer implementations, designing solutions that transform multi-domain network operations • Serve as the technical expert on projects involving firewall automation, load balancer orchestration, cloud network integration, and compliance automation • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with architects on solution design • Influence product roadmap with field insights and represent Itential's technical excellence in customer engagements • Design and implement sophisticated solutions • Lead complex network automation transformations • Work on advanced Python automation frameworks, enterprise-scale Ansible deployments, Terraform IaC, integrations with Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista, and cloud-native networking • Up to 25% travel for strategic engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecommunication, computer science, related field or relevant experience required • 5+ years in Network Automation required • Proficiency in Ansible, Linux, Python Scripting, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH • Understanding of network devices and configurations across Firewalls, switches, routers, cloud networks, load balancers, etc. with vendors such as: Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista • Familiar with infrastructure and change management platforms such as: Infoblox, NetBox, ServiceNow • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach in identifying and delivering automation opportunities • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to delivering quality solutions • Confluence, Jira, Git, Pipelines • Advanced certifications in networking or automation technologies (preferred) • Knowledge of Terraform and cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred) • Hands-on experience with the Itential Platform (preferred)
