• Serve as Bodily's on-site quality authority during production runs — identifying and escalating issues related to stitch tension, thread tension, elastic application, seam construction, and overall garment quality • Conduct or oversee post-production inspection; work in conjunction with our third-party QC body (SGS) as needed • Produce clear, photo-documented quality reports and findings for our US-based team on a regular cadence • Review tech packs and flag or recommend improvements for quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency • Identify root causes of recurring production defects and lead recommendations for corrective action • Enter and maintain purchase order data in our production systems, keeping records accurate and current • Coordinate communication between our US team and the factory on development, sampling, and production timelines • Track open items, flag delays, and ensure the US team has clear visibility into production status
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in intimate apparel production and quality management — bralettes, underwear, and related categories required (general apparel background is not sufficient) • Deep technical QC expertise: stitch types and density standards, thread tension, elastic attachment methods, lingerie construction, and fabric behavior under stretch and recovery • Demonstrated experience in a Quality Manager, Head of Quality, Production Manager, or equivalent senior role within an intimate apparel manufacturing environment • Proven ability to engage directly and assertively with factory management on quality issues — this role requires both technical credibility and interpersonal leadership • Experience with production coordination, sourcing, or production management is a strong plus • Comfortable working in production tracking systems and maintaining accurate data records • Based in Sri Lanka with reliable ability to be on-site at our manufacturing facility located outside Colombo • Available to overlap with US East Coast business hours for a portion of the working day • Excellent written English — you will communicate daily with our US-based team via written reports, email, and video calls • Self-directed and proactive — this role requires someone who surfaces problems and drives solutions without waiting to be asked.
• Engagement & Compensation • Full-time contract engagement beginning with a 3-month trial period, with the intention of transitioning to an ongoing full-time retainer. Monthly compensation commensurate with experience.
