📋 Description
• Develop and optimize queries, views, stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server. • Analyze and refactor existing structures to improve performance and reduce execution costs. • Translate complex business rules into efficient, maintainable SQL logic. • Perform index, statistics, and execution plan tuning, and analyze blocking and deadlocks. • Support development teams with data modeling and database access best practices. • Ensure integrity, consistency, and security of processed data.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong experience (min. 3 years) with SQL Server 2016+. • Proficiency in query optimization (tuning, indexes, SARGability, execution plan analysis). • Development of high-performance stored procedures. • Handling large volumes of data. • Transactions, isolation levels, locking, and deadlock handling. • Experience implementing complex business rules directly in the database. • Nice to have: experience optimizing performance of high-volume stored procedures. • Knowledge of partitioning and scalability strategies. • Experience with distributed environments (microservices) and cloud databases (Azure/OCI/AWS).
