📋 Description

• design and develop innovative packaging solutions for new and existing products, considering material properties, manufacturing processes, and shipping requirements • conduct packaging material selection, testing, and qualification to meet performance, cost, and environmental objectives • collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing to integrate packaging into the overall product development lifecycle • develop and maintain packaging specifications, BOMs (Bills of Material), and other relevant documentation • perform root cause analysis of packaging-related issues and implement corrective and preventative actions • optimize packaging designs for cost reduction, improved efficiency, and reduced environmental impact • stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and technologies in packaging and apply relevant advancements • evaluate and approve packaging designs from suppliers and ensure adherence to Jabil standards • participate in supplier selection and qualification processes for packaging materials and services • support sustainability initiatives by identifying opportunities for eco-friendly packaging solutions
