• Be the primary leader for the overall performance of Johnson Control’s Federal projects involving multiple medical facilities and hospitals across multiple sites throughout South Korea, Japan, and Guam, typically $50M or greater in scope • Supports program development effort, management plan development, and monitoring progress • Develops cost estimates • Makes presentations to Executive Management on current and forecasted performance • Evaluates and reviews overall subcontracting strategies • Maintains relationships with Principals of major subcontractors • Oversees monthly performance evaluations of strategic programs and provides reports to management • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects • Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements • Responsible for overall program asset management including collections, cost control, progress billings, and payables
• 15+ years of progressive experience in construction and renovation of healthcare facilities • Proven advanced Construction/ Project management skills • Ability to manage multiple large projects of $50M or greater • High-level Construction Management process competencies • Proven track record of managing very large and complex projects within time constraints and budget • Ability to manage, coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development stage through construction • High-level understanding of contract language and project accounting • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in speaking to large audiences • Able to lead and direct diverse teams • Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office and basic Windows environment • Familiarity with standard construction industry software, including scheduling with Primavera P6, MS Project • Experience utilizing Construction/Project Management Software (Procore preferred) • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance • Korean or Japanese language skills would be a benefit.
• Eligible for benefits on first day of employment • Travel: Around 50% (if not living in Japan or South Korea)
