• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to prepare detailed test plans and test cases. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and mobile applications. • Execute manual test cases and identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps). • Conduct sanity, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product readiness. • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand issues and verify fixes. • Validate data flows and business logic through back-end verification and database queries (SQL). • Maintain test documentation, test reports, and traceability matrices. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and product quality discussions. • Ensure timely test execution and quality sign-offs for release cycles. • Provide feedback and suggest improvements in the QA process for continuous enhancement.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong understanding of SDLC • Strong understanding of STLC • Strong understanding of Defect Life Cycle • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM • Good knowledge of database testing and ability to write basic SQL queries • Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman (added advantage) • Familiarity with Agile methodology and sprint-based testing practices
