• Own, manage, and grow relationships with major big box retailers and distributor accounts • Serve as the primary commercial contact, responsible for pricing, margin, forecasting, and overall account performance • Drive revenue and margin growth through program expansion, assortment growth, and disciplined pricing • Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements favorable to Jewett Cameron to protect net margins • Position Jewett Cameron as a trusted, innovative, and reliable supplier of quality imported goods at competitive prices • Prevent and manage issues related to quality, stockouts, returns, chargebacks, and service performance • Identify and execute near-term sales opportunities while building longer-term account strategies • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance to ensure reliable execution • Manage customer expectations and resolve issues when challenges arise • Travel regularly to visit customers, merchants, stores, and attend trade shows
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Proven success managing and growing big box retail and/or major distributor accounts • Experience in building products, outdoor products, manufacturing, or distribution environments • Strong commercial instincts with ability to negotiate pricing and terms while protecting margin • Track record of growing business through program expansion and account penetration • Comfortable navigating supply chain realities and customer expectations • Highly self-directed and effective in a lean organization • Strong problem-solving ability and bias toward action
