• Report to the Associate University Registrar for Academic Catalogue, Academic Calendar, and Classroom Management and Scheduling. • Serve as the supplemental interface between the Office of the University Registrar business area, divisional registrar offices, University technology team, and contracted services. • Assist in the functional areas of catalogue, academic calendar, academic and event scheduling, and classroom management. • Recommend creative solutions to business problems. • Support data-driven decision-making focusing on data integration, integrity, mining, analysis, and reporting. • Provide functional support to the Office of the University Registrar team, collaborate with the University Information Systems team, and contribute to technical and functional projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field • Three years of related experience • Functional experience with Student Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) strongly preferred • Functional experience with CourseLeaf CAT, CIM, CLSS, or another catalog and curriculum software strongly preferred • CollegeNET/25Live or other scheduling software strongly preferred • Functional experience with OnBase or other document imaging software is strongly preferred • Knowledge of FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and all laws, rules, and regulations related to JHU policies is desired. • Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. • Ability to maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. • Demonstrate discretion when dealing with sensitive issues. • Flexible and able to work well under pressure. Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask. • Ability to analyze and resolve issues, including student data issues. • Ability to collaborate and problem-solve regarding business process improvements and innovative solutions and to oversee the implementation of new solutions or systems. • Can explain basic technical concepts to a non-technical audience. • Ability to develop test cases and oversee user-acceptance testing.
