• Manage consumer and commercial debt collection cases across Florida. • Draft, review, and approve pleadings and motions. • Represent clients at hearings, trials, and other court proceedings (in person and via Zoom) by request. • Oversee complaint filings, service of process, defaults, and judgment enforcement. • Handle contested matters, including discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations as needed. • Conduct post-judgment remedies such as garnishments, depositions in aid of execution, and asset recovery. • Ensure compliance with FDCPA and other consumer protection regulations. • Provide guidance to paralegals on escalated matters and support process improvements.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar required. • 2–3 years of experience in collections litigation preferred. • Courtroom experience with hearings and trials. • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail. • Strong advocacy, organizational, and process-driven skills. • Strong preference given to candidates who currently reside in Florida or Georgia.
