📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team for Charles River Laboratories, a large life sciences client. • Work directly with S&P leadership, Account leadership and client to manage expectations and team deliverables. • Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guideline, AND meeting account level KPIs and goals. • Develop and deliver total supply chain strategy and solutions • Manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities. • Achieves Financial and Compliance Results Oversight of annual sourcing plan development. • Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk. • Own sourcing compliance and controls. • Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings. • Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience. • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. • MBA, PDS experience a plus • CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred. • Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint • E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. • Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%) • This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
