• Acts as a scientific expert and implements Medical Affairs product plans within the assigned medical-scientific area • Conducts proactive and reactive scientific exchange with external medical and scientific experts • Communicates product data, clinical trial programs, and scientific information on products and development indications • Plans and conducts pipeline and strategy meetings, including sessions with university hospitals • Connects regional insights with the overarching medical strategy • Identifies key questions, data gaps, and medical needs to develop patient-outcome solutions • Takes an active role in strategic hematology account planning and derives regional priorities and stakeholder needs • Supports the development and implementation of medical strategies • Supports the identification of clinical trial sites and the establishment of partnerships in collaboration with Global Clinical Operations • Supports the setup, planning, and implementation of interventional and non-interventional drug studies • Coordinates clinical trial sites in alignment with MAF ID/GCO and supports relevant CAR-T cases • Identifies, plans, and conducts regional and national Medical Education activities • Delivers scientific presentations and represents the company at congresses, investigator meetings, and Medical Education events • Supports advisory board meetings • Expands the key opinion leader network and maintains relationships with professional societies and health policy organizations • Evaluates and summarizes current medical and scientific information from the literature
• University degree in medicine, life sciences, or pharmacy; PhD preferred • Substantial scientific experience in a human medical and clinical context • At least 3 years of relevant MSL experience in hematology • Experience building KOL networks, leading regional Medical Affairs initiatives, and collaborating with clinical trial sites • (Lateral) leadership experience • Strong project management skills • Collaborative and proactive mindset • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong agile mindset and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics, structures, and scientific developments • Very good written and spoken German and English • In-depth expertise in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and systemic therapies of hematologic diseases • Proven experience interpreting and communicating complex clinical trial data, pipeline developments, and cross-indication medical-scientific relationships • Proven experience initiating and supporting complex clinical trials and academic initiatives, including site selection, investigator engagement, and site reviews
