📋 Description

• Own sourcing for a design-led kitchen, cooking, and food brand scaling to 15 launches per year • Take product specifications, mockups, and design briefs from the founder and identify suitable suppliers • Identify and approach 5-6 potential suppliers per product • Obtain NNN agreements and supplier quotes • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, samples, and production terms • Manage supplier conversations regarding design and component options • Check in with the founder on product decisions • Use the company's unit economics framework, including HTS codes, cost sheets, and ocean freight, to validate product viability • Drive products through the process until they are checked into FBA in the United States, defining the launch

🎯 Requirements

• Sourcing background: understanding of MOQs, supplier negotiation, lead times, production, and ocean freight • Baseline understanding of unit economics, including cost sheets and HTS codes • Experience sourcing from China • Experience exporting shelf stable food and understanding compliance requirements • At least 3-4 hours of overlap with Bangkok (ICT) afternoons, approximately 1pm-5pm Bangkok time • Design eye and attention to detail preferred • Self-directed, accountable, driven, and able to investigate problems independently • Direct communication skills; Eastern European style directness is a plus • Ability to think alongside the founder, not just execute

• $2,750-$3,500 USD per month • Full-time • Fully remote • Overlap with Bangkok (ICT) afternoons - at least 3-4 hours of crossover • Gross salary; employee is responsible for tax-related procedures in their country of residence • Independent contractor arrangement • Full-time, primary role with no freelancing or second jobs • Hiring process includes screening and testing handled by JobRack • Respectful hiring experience and application updates throughout the process
