📋 Description
• Design YouTube thumbnails that captivate viewers • Develop and own the visual style of the channel • Consistently ship thumbnails that improve CTR and viewer retention • Create and maintain a thumbnail reference library and testing process
🎯 Requirements
• Proven track record with large creators or agency work for top-performing channels • Experience in Photoshop and Figma • Strong understanding of YouTube trends and data-driven creative decision-making • Excellent communication and creative judgment - you can defend and explain design choices clearly • Experience designing thumbnails for top YouTube channels (100K+ subs or videos with millions of views) - Brownie points • Strong understanding of YouTube psychology - emotion, curiosity gaps, tension, color, and storytelling through visuals - Brownie points • Ability to ideate thumbnail concepts independently from the title and video angle - Brownie points • Can deliver 2–3 strong versions per title - Brownie points • Comfortable producing 8–10 high-quality thumbnails per week with fast turnaround - Brownie points • Experience analyzing CTR data and iterating based on performance - Brownie points
