📋 Description

• Develop and implement an innovative curriculum, including career guidance for early-career researchers • Collaborate with the Head of Scientific Training, school leadership, student representatives, and faculty at the VBC campus • Manage the recruitment process and onboarding of PhD students • Oversee the quality of PhD training • Mentor and advise PhD students throughout their doctoral studies • Initiate and support events, retreats, and symposia • Support promotion and outreach to increase the program's visibility locally and internationally • Budget responsibility and financial management for Doctoral School activities • Coordinate and implement recruitment, training, and outreach projects

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in the life sciences, preferably molecular biology or a related field • Experience in program coordination and/or project management in a dynamic, multicultural environment, preferably in the life sciences • Expertise in competitive recruitment cycles • Excellent command of English • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility • Empathetic personality • Innovative, flexible, and team-oriented • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
