📋 Description

• Develop an independent research profile in hybrid AI for cybersecurity, as well as the security and privacy of agentic systems • Publish in international venues and deliver presentations • Apply for projects and secure third-party funding • Prepare and complete a publication-ready habilitation thesis • Independently teach courses in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement • Supervise students in courses covering technical and organizational aspects of security • Contribute to the organization of workshops, conferences, and symposia • Participate in evaluation activities and quality assurance • Actively contribute to research, teaching, and administration within the Security & Privacy research group at the Faculty of Computer Science

🎯 Requirements

• PhD with a specialization in information security • Research focus on semantic technologies and automation for cybersecurity, including a proven record of research activity • Publications in leading information security venues • Experience securing third-party funding • Experience leading large-scale research projects • Excellent programming skills • Leadership skills in supervising students • Experience teaching computer science at the bachelor's and master's levels • Excellent German and English language skills • Strong teamworking skills • Persistence and assertiveness • Desirable: Experience with international and interdisciplinary research projects • Desirable: Knowledge of university processes and structures • Application materials: academic CV, letter of intent, list of publications, summary of research interests, references, and proof of a completed doctoral/PhD degree
