• Drive growth and profitability of the waterproofing business across the EMEA region • Oversee the P&L and management of the waterproofing business and deliver on our growth ambition over the next 5 years • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share through strong commercial leadership, customer insight, technical expertise, and the ability to engage country teams • Define and execute the commercial strategy to reach our five-year plan targets • Oversee the waterproofing P&L for EMEA and ensure profitability and business development • Engage and align with national sales teams to execute the commercial action plan • Support countries in engaging specifiers on large projects and key contractor clients • Analyze offering performance, identify gaps to be addressed, and recommend required improvements • Support local teams with technical expertise and training • Monitor performance across countries, analyze results and implement corrective actions when needed • Visit regions or countries to align commercial strategy and provide technical support and expertise • Coordinate interactions with corporate units (category management, digital, etc.), local technical services, and the commercial organization for initiatives and follow-up activities required to support growth (NPD, certification, marketing & communications...) • Identify and build relationships with key customers and market stakeholders (specifiers) • Regularly benchmark the competitive landscape across different product families to ensure there are no portfolio gaps • Provide recommendations to define product ranges, develop necessary commercial and marketing materials, and tailor messaging to three key audiences: professional distributors, contractors, and specification teams (architects and engineers) • Lead technical-commercial presentations and training sessions to drive adoption and confidence in waterproofing solutions • Deploy internal and external educational programs focused on waterproofing • Support the claims process with technical expertise • Support the innovation project pipeline in coordination with the R&D and category management teams.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with technical expertise in waterproofing • Proven track record in business development, account management, and key account handling • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least 10 years’ experience in a managerial or international role • Ability to influence and motivate multicultural teams across multiple countries • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Experience in the waterproofing industry with a customer-centric focus • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization • Hands-on ability to use and demonstrate products • Proficiency in English • French language skills would be an advantage • Ability to lead working groups with participants from different cultures, seniority levels and functions • Highly energetic, positive and resilient.
