📋 Description

• Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Looker and SQL. • Coordinate and collaborate around the designing and implementation of a scalable and efficient database solution to support business requirements. • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data dictionaries. • Manage and optimize databases to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability. • Support database maintenance tasks, such as backups, indexing, and monitoring. • Assist in monitoring and optimizing database performance. • Learn and develop LookML models for Looker-based data analytics and reporting. • Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. • Utilize BigQuery for data storage, querying, and processing. • Optimize BigQuery usage for cost-efficiency and performance. • Design and implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems. • Collaborate with product, technology, finance, marketing and distribution services to ensure business needs are being addressed. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues. • Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field. • 2-5+ years of experience in database management, data engineering, or data analysis. • Proficiency in SQL, dbt (data build tool), and Python for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. • Experience with LookML for developing and maintaining Looker models. • Experience with Fivetran for data replication and pipeline management. • Strong understanding of data modeling principles, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub). • Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) for creating interactive dashboards and reports. • Experience designing and delivering clear, impactful data-driven presentations and reports to stakeholders. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest trends in data technologies. • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), NoSQL databases, and statistical analysis. • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries. • Experience designing and delivering clear, impactful data-driven presentations and reports to stakeholders.
