📋 Description
• Manage the mechanical engineering department and optimize resource utilization • Lead mechanical design, design reviews, and supervision during construction. • Oversee all project stages: schematic design, detailed design, D&B, IFC, and execution. • Detect and resolve BIM model clashes in collaboration with BIM specialists (LOD 300–500). • Ensure QA/QC compliance and coordination with MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines. • Prepare and review BOQs, specs, technical reports, submittals, and tender packages. • Support site teams with technical evaluations and compliance oversight. • Contribute to proposal efforts by defining scope, estimating resources, and offering technical solutions. • Participate in technical reviews, value engineering workshops, and coordination meetings. • Stay current with mechanical engineering tools, codes, and BIM technologies.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory) • Master’s in Mechanical, Energy, or Environmental Engineering (preferred) • Minimum 8 years in mechanical and electromechanical engineering with leadership responsibilities. • Proven experience in design, design review (including schematic, D&B, and IFC stages), and construction supervision of complex MEP systems. • Proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks; capable of managing BIM deliverables (LOD 300–500), and clash detection workflows. • Deep understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and pumping systems in multidisciplinary environments. • Skilled in AutoCAD; knowledge of Primavera/MS Project is a plus. • Strong familiarity with KSA, MEA, GCC, and international codes and practices. • Strong technical reporting, QA/QC, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. • Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus. • Willing to travel regionally (Egypt and KSA)
