📋 Description
• Assist students with homework in math (through algebra 2), reading/writing, general homework help and organizational skills. • Check grades and school portals with students to keep them on track. • Act as a role model and mentor to students that you tutor towards academic success.
🎯 Requirements
• Ability to tutor most middle school and early high school subject areas: math (algebra 1, geometry or algebra 2), science (physical science or higher), reading/writing, and history. • Minimum GPA of 3.5. • Good study habits and organizational skills as evidenced by college transcripts • Previous tutoring experience is ideal but not required! • It is not required that you are a current college student for our tutoring positions. • Able to work effectively in a virtual environment and have access to a clean, professional background for virtual sessions.
