📋 Description

• Own and lead quality efforts for significant product areas and cross-team initiatives • Define and drive comprehensive functional, integration, performance, and system test strategies • Support developers in shifting quality left and improving local acceptance testing • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Pytest, TypeScript, and related tools • Participate in Post-Incident Reviews and drive solutions to prevent repeat incidents • Plan and complete Readiness Review testing sections • Manage end-to-end acceptance and exploratory testing at the epic level • Conduct complex debugging, staging/production issue reproduction, and root cause analysis • Partner with technical leads to address test coverage gaps and framework issues • Implement AI-assisted testing efficiencies • Mentor and coach QE 1s, QE 2s, and QE 3s • Act as a technical interviewer during hiring processes • Balance testing risk against delivery schedules • Collaborate with architects and development leads to ensure system testability and robustness • Participate in on-call shifts

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in test planning, automation framework utilization, and Agile collaboration • Advanced proficiency in Python, Pytest, Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Deep experience with performance, security, integration, and exploratory testing • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation solutions • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and troubleshooting tools • Ability to identify when and how to escalate issues • Experience enabling development teams to manage their own testing • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills • Ability to define and execute test coverage strategies across unit, functional, and acceptance testing • Fluent spoken and written English • Must be located in and authorized to work in India
