📋 Description

• Review B2B SaaS sales contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 (or relevant revenue recognition standards) • Review and execute Sales Orders, billing transactions and revenue schedules • Apply revenue recognition policies to complex contracts and issues • Identify and implement additional controls or reconciliations within the Q2C process • Develop and execute reconciliations and maintain transaction support records in audit-ready state • Complete revenue-related close tasks and prepare monthly revenue and reclassification journal entries • Conduct monthly revenue flux analysis and miscellaneous revenue adjustments • Produce accurate and timely revenue reports for management review • Coordinate documentation and reporting for auditors and participate in audit walkthroughs • Assist ensuring SOX compliance regarding revenue-related controls • Demonstrate or develop proficiency in SFDC, NetSuite, and the Advanced Revenue Module to trace revenue to the general ledger • Identify and troubleshoot system-related revenue accounting issues and recommend automation improvements • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal and other departments • Communicate revenue accounting requirements to non-financial stakeholders and provide insightful analysis of revenue trends and variances

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA (or similar) preferred • Revenue Recognition 3-5 years exposure in a SaaS company (preferably B2B) or 2-4 years Big 4 public accounting experience with SaaS engagements • Solid understanding of US GAAP particularly ASC 606 • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, etc.) • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CPQ a plus • Demonstrated or developing proficiency in SFDC and NetSuite (including Advanced Revenue Module) • Ability to extract data and create basic to moderately complex reports and saved searches • Experience with billing, revenue schedules, and journal entries • Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance related to revenue controls • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English fluency required) • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve (accounting and system perspective) • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a dynamic fast-paced environment • Enthusiastic attitude, flexibility to adapt quickly, and willingness to help across teams • Must be located within one of the 50 U.S. States (U.S. roles only)
