📋 Description

• Operational finance processes & preparatory accounting • Full responsibility for preparatory accounting (including obtaining missing documents, document verification, reconciliation with the tax advisor) • Review and approval of all incoming and outgoing invoices • Ensure correct and complete documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (in cooperation with the tax advisor) • Execute automated payment runs & prepare bulk transfers • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments as well as dunning and receivables management • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable master data • Co-responsible for insurance matters as well as travel expense and corporate card management • Regular collection, preparation and analysis of KPIs and key financial metrics • Further develop our reporting & KPI system in coordination with management • Prepare financial analyses, forecasts & management reports • Budget planning and ongoing cost monitoring together with the business units • Support in business plans & management reviews • Responsibility for liquidity planning and cash management • Close collaboration with tax advisors, banks, service providers & internal departments • Ensure smooth processes between Finance, Procurement, Sales and Operations • Proactively identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree in finance, controlling, business administration or a related field • Several years of experience in accounting, preparatory accounting or finance/controlling within an SME • Confident user of DATEV or comparable systems • Structured, conscientious and independent working style • High reliability, resilience and sense of responsibility • Strong understanding of numbers, processes and interfaces • Proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills
