📋 Description

• Conceptualize and design new sock styles for VON JUNGFELD's seasonal collections • Develop patterns, motifs, color palettes and commercially relevant product ideas • Translate current fashion, lifestyle and color trends into a distinctive design language that fits the brand • Develop collection themes and design concepts in close coordination with our creative and product teams • Design across different product categories, e.g. classic socks, statement socks, sports socks and seasonal styles • Produce production-ready design files, colorways and technical drawings • Prepare clear design specifications and briefs for our production partners • Adapt designs to the technical constraints and capabilities of knit manufacturing • Revise and optimize designs based on sampling and feedback • Support the ongoing development of our color palettes, signature motifs and recurring design worlds • Optional: Develop additional textile accessories or small product micro-collections

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion or a comparable qualification • Several years of practical experience developing fashion, textile or accessory collections • Strong sensibility for color, pattern, materials and commercially relevant trends • Preferably experience designing socks, knitwear, jacquard patterns or textile accessories • Understanding of the technical requirements and limitations of knitted products • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Experience creating technical drawings, design specifications and production-ready files • Ability to develop creative yet commercially viable products for diverse target groups • Independent, structured and reliable working style • Enjoy close, straightforward collaboration with a small team • Very good German or English language skills
