📋 Description

• Own quality for the assigned project • Drive the end-to-end testing strategy and oversee release readiness • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and drive manual and automation testing efforts • Review technical design documents and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications using AI-assisted analysis for testability, edge cases, and integration bottlenecks • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define automation strategy for new feature releases • Design and execute complex frontend and backend test cases • Use AI-powered tools such as Cursor or Augment to prototype and scaffold test suites • Develop comprehensive frontend and backend RESTful or GraphQL API test suites • Maintain and extend backend automation frameworks, preferably Locust, Pytest, or RestAssured, using LLMs • Establish QA best practices, coding standards, and code review processes for the automation team • Foster technical excellence and proactive problem-solving • Develop automated test result reports and highlight quality risks • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs through resolution using AI tools for root-cause analysis and log interpretation • Advocate for an automation-first approach and recommend ways to reduce manual testing effort

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience • 8-12 years in Software Quality Assurance • Proven track record leading quality initiatives for complex distributed systems, microservices, and backend APIs • Proactive use of AI-powered tools such as Augment, Cursor, or Gemini • Skilled in designing and maintaining scalable frontend and backend automation frameworks • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python • Hands-on manual and automated frontend testing using Playwright • Backend REST and/or GraphQL API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Locust • Ownership of the Continuous Testing portion of CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of SDLC concepts, code review practices, code coverage analysis, continuous testing, and delivery • Experience managing the full release cycle, from scoping test requirements to final Go/No-Go decisions • Experience creating comprehensive test plans, authoring test cases, executing tests, and following QA best practices • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL • Strong experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes • Familiarity with Git, TestRail, and Jira • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile teams with minimal supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Performance and load testing experience is good to have
