• Lead, coach, and motivate the collections team to meet individual and departmental recovery goals • Monitor daily collection activity and performance metrics, and report regularly to management • Develop and implement strategies that improve collection rates and reduce delinquency • Handle escalated customer issues and review and approve payment arrangements, write-offs, and settlements • Partner with Customer Service, Finance, and Compliance to resolve account discrepancies • Ensure all collection activity adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures
• Bachelor's degree • 2+ years of experience in collections, customer service, or a similar field, including supervisory or team leadership experience • Fluency in Spanish and English • Strong knowledge of collection laws, compliance standards, and best practices • Proficiency in Excel and collection management systems • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines • Candidates must reside in Panama or Guatemala and be legally authorized to work in the country
