📋 Description

• Receive and own pre-triaged, escalated customer issues from the Customer Support team and drive them to resolution • Debug and diagnose complex production and integration problems across the full stack • Identify root causes and implement durable fixes — not just workarounds • Communicate proactively with stakeholders on issue status, timelines, and resolution plans • Document findings and contribute to internal knowledge bases to reduce repeat escalations • Collaborate with teammates to formulate detailed designs, implement solutions from requirements, and estimate effort • Participate actively in agile product development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives • Adhere to test-driven development practices and maintain high standards for code quality • Support product deployments, configuration, and post-release validation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a track record of owning complex features end-to-end • Strong Java proficiency — able to design, build, debug, and own Java-based services and features end-to-end • Strong debugging and analytical skills — comfortable isolating issues across frontend, backend, and data layers • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX • Solid experience with PostgreSQL — writing queries, analyzing execution plans, and resolving data issues • Familiarity with queuing systems and API integrations (Redis/Resque, JSON-based systems, or similar) • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities — planned roadmap work alongside resolving escalated issues • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required • Ability to work independently and with distributed, international remote teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
