• Bring your team together to review progress on assigned tasks • Review notable bugs and determine the best approach to address them • Communicate regularly with leads from other disciplines to plan, assess risks, and deliver on schedule • Code alongside your team members on a daily basis • Keep your project manager informed of the status of your assignments and meet with other leads to discuss process improvements and share technologies
• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering • Excellent knowledge of low-level programming (C++) • Knowledge of other programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or others • Several years of solid programming experience • Familiarity with game engines or experience in embedded software development or similar • Experience managing a team of programmers or equivalent leadership experience • Excellent communication skills and strategic leadership • Ability to remain calm under pressure and focus on finding solutions • Understanding of video game production and strong interpersonal skills with non-technical stakeholders
