📋 Description

• You are the point of contact for cyber security across our customer product portfolio. • As Cyber Security Officer / Product Security Officer, you will coordinate the establishment and ongoing development of a product-related Cyber Security Management System (sPLMS) within the business division. • You will support senior management in selecting appropriate and effective cybersecurity standards and will define policies and the strategic approach for digital product security together with them. • You will coordinate digital product security matters with the respective delegates and responsible parties and be accountable for implementing security standards. • You will manage IT-related security certifications for the company in the context of our customer software. • You will administer and optimize firewalls in collaboration with our IT department and the IT teams of our international customers. • Additionally, you will oversee Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and other network security measures. • You will assist in developing and delivering training to raise awareness among employees and customers about cybersecurity risks and protective measures.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT security and network security. • Technical expertise: Solid knowledge in configuring and managing VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). • Security certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or comparable qualifications are advantageous. • Experience with security standards: Familiarity with standards and certifications such as ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST and GDPR, and the ability to implement them in practice. • Cloud security knowledge: Experience with security architectures in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus. • Proactive work style: You identify security gaps early and take proactive measures — action matters more to you than intention. • Communication skills: You can communicate security-related topics clearly and understandably — both internally and externally. • Language skills: Very good German and English language skills.
