📋 Description

• You are responsible for the setup, configuration and monitoring of secure VPN and network infrastructures, with a focus on remote maintenance of our customers' systems. • You develop and implement security policies and protocols for our networks and customer systems to ensure data integrity and protection. • Working with colleagues, you define requirements for security measures, conduct regular security reviews and penetration tests, analyze vulnerabilities and develop solutions to mitigate risks. • Going forward, you will coordinate the company's IT-related security certifications in the context of our customer software. • You manage and optimize firewalls in collaboration with our IT department and the IT teams of our international customers; you also maintain intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and other network security measures. • You support the development and delivery of training to raise employee and customer awareness of cybersecurity risks and protective measures.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT security and network security. • Technical expertise: Solid knowledge in configuring and managing VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). • IT security certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are an advantage. • Experience with security standards: Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST and GDPR and the ability to implement them in practice. • Cloud security knowledge: Experience with security architectures in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is an advantage. • You are proactive and able to identify security gaps early and take appropriate action — doing is more important to you than intending. • You can communicate security-relevant topics clearly and understandably — both internally and externally. • Excellent German and English language skills.
