📋 Description

• Take ownership of the on-premises platform • Expand and standardize the Hetzner/Proxmox infrastructure using Ansible, Python scripting, and Jenkins Shared Libraries (Groovy) • Orchestrate isolated customer environments on Ubuntu VMs running Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Keycloak, and RabbitMQ • Manage and optimize build pipelines with Gradle/Maven • Optimize deployment processes for Spring Boot and Tomcat applications • Coach and support development teams as a sparring partner • Establish DevOps standards within the Community of Practice • Maintain structured documentation of architectural decisions (ADRs) in Confluence • Set up alerting and logging with Grafana, Loki, and LibreNMS • Evaluate and use AI agents such as OpenCode and HypGPT for routine tasks, code reviews, and pipeline analysis • Help shape technical decisions and further develop the DevOps culture

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience administering and automating Linux environments (Ubuntu) • Strong knowledge of Ansible, Docker, and Jenkins • Knowledge of the Java/JVM ecosystem, particularly Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Tomcat, Gradle, or Maven • Understanding of build configurations and dependencies • Hands-on approach to on-premises infrastructure • Ability to explain complex relationships clearly and share knowledge • Willingness to work in agile squads (Scrum) • Open-mindedness toward AI tools and agentic programming in the DevOps workflow • Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, PostgreSQL, or security and compliance is a plus but not required
