📋 Description

• Design, build, and own ETL/ELT pipelines bringing data from APIs, SaaS tools, CRMs, and transactional databases into Snowflake • Model Snowflake data to make it clean, trustworthy, and usable for analytics and product • Build and maintain integrations across the stack, selecting off-the-shelf connectors or custom code as appropriate • Work directly with product and business leaders to turn vague questions into concrete data solutions • Use AI tools and agents to accelerate work and automate manual team workflows • Own work end to end: identify problems, propose solutions, ship them, and continuously improve them • Create the data foundation behind a US startup partner's product and business decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on data engineering experience building production pipelines in Python and SQL • Strong Snowflake experience, including data modeling, performance, and cost awareness • Experience integrating multiple data sources and orchestrating pipelines using Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, or similar • Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered workflows on top of company data • Business and product sense, including ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and prioritize by impact • Impeccable spoken and written English • Comfortable working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment • Startup or founder/co-founder experience preferred • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and data version control practices, including Git, dbt tests, and data quality checks preferred • Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred
