📋 Description

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, vehicles, environments, props, and other key visual elements • Develop designs supporting the project's stylised visual direction • Explore ideas through sketches, thumbnails, silhouettes, colour studies, and developed concepts • Work with the Art Director to establish and maintain the project's visual language • Produce production-ready concepts with design callouts, turnarounds, material indications, and supporting references • Create paintovers and visual solutions for 3D artists • Establish visual benchmarks and contribute to the project's quality bar • Apply shape language, proportion, colour, value, composition, and visual hierarchy to stylised design • Collaborate with character, environment, vehicle, animation, and other art disciplines • Iterate based on feedback while maintaining design intent • Help define and develop the visual identity of an unannounced stylised game project

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concept Artist within games or a closely related entertainment field • Strong portfolio demonstrating stylised concept characters, vehicles, and environments to a high standard • Strong stylised design skills, including shape language, silhouette, colour, composition, and visual storytelling • Strong drawing and digital painting skills • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and efficiently • Ability to move between early ideation and polished, production-ready concepts • Understanding of form, perspective, anatomy, proportion, lighting, and colour theory • Ability to create visually appealing designs practical for downstream 3D production • Comfortable working across different subject matter • Ability to interpret an Art Director's vision and explore multiple creative solutions within an established visual style • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and iterating quickly based on feedback • Experience working on a shipped game project is preferred • Familiarity with 3D tools or basic 3D workflows is a plus • Relevant working rights for Malaysia and Indonesia required • Sponsorship and relocation are not offered
