Kielo Research is a scientific consultancy specializing in real-world, patient-centered evidence generation to support drug and medical device development. They design and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies — including patient preference studies, patient-centred outcome instrument development, clinical trial exit interviews, burden-of-illness research, social media listening, and multi-criteria decision analysis — to inform regulatory submissions, access, and commercialization strategies. The team positions patients at the center of research and collaborates globally with industry and stakeholders to translate patient experience into decision-grade evidence.

📋 Description

• Provide expertise for statistical analyses of health outcomes studies with patients, caregivers, and clinicians • Development of statistical and psychometric analysis plans • Formal experimental design of choice experiments (such as discrete choice experiments, best-worst scaling, thresholding, and swing weighting) • Statistical analysis, including econometric analysis of choice data (e.g. from discrete choice experiments) and psychometric analyses (classical and modern), using R • Writing statistical analysis sections to study protocols and reports • Support efficient study operations by developing scripts to automate manual research tasks • Conduct literature reviews, protocol development, and patient interviews • Survey implementation and testing • Qualitative coding and analysis • Writing study reports and scientific publications

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., statistics, (health) economics, epidemiology, computer science, or management science) with three years of relevant experience; or Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field with one year of relevant experience • experience conducting statistical analyses of patient preference, clinical outcome assessment, or other health outcomes data in R • familiarity with data management and visualisation using the tidyverse packages • fluency in using Microsoft Office products • fluency in English • French, German, Spanish, or Italian is considered an advantage
