📋 Description

• Point of contact for all accounting-related questions • Responsible for the selection, hiring and professional onboarding of new employees • Preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (including provisions, depreciation and accruals) • Performing account reconciliations, supplier settlements and intercompany reconciliations • Processing incoming invoices, reminders and cash closings, and resolving discrepancies in close coordination with our stores • Close collaboration with Controlling on budget planning, forecasts and analyses • Preparation of annual tax returns (corporation tax, trade tax, VAT) including complete documentation of supporting documents and coordination with external tax advisors • Preparation and management of all payment processes for the DACH region • Planning and support of inventories and analysis of results • Responsibility for fixed asset accounting (creation, maintenance and depreciation of fixed assets) • Participation in payroll accounting (posting payroll, reconciling payroll accounts, communication with external payroll providers) • Active contribution to process optimizations, digitization projects and system implementations

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter/certified balance sheet accountant) • Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a senior role • Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation under HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS • Very strong Excel skills; experience with SAP is an advantage • Very good knowledge of financial accounting and experience with ERP and accounting systems • Experience working with tax advisors and auditors • Leadership skills and enthusiasm for developing employees • Structured, responsible and solution-oriented working style • Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of a dynamic, international environment • Very good German language skills; good English skills are an advantage
