📋 Description

• Responsible for desk adjusting of first-party property claims • Analyze coverage, investigate causes of loss, scope damages, review estimates • Assist in management and training of team members • Implement virtual claim technology • Communicate professionally while answering questions and gathering claims information • Review estimates and make necessary changes and adjustments • Maintain claim files with professional notes and summaries • Ensure claim disposition meets good faith handling guidelines • Assist in the training and mentoring of team members

🎯 Requirements

• A college degree (preferred) • Large loss experience (preferred) • 10+ years’ experience managing and handling Homeowners and Dwelling Fire claims • Continued insurance education and/or designations • Xactimate knowledge • Construction knowledge • Ability to scope property losses • Comprehensive understanding of insurance contracts • Ability to identify subrogation and salvage opportunities • Strong negotiation and settlement skills • Experience in a heavy Public Adjuster environment
