• Identify, scrape, ingest, and clean data from every credible source on migration and wealth flows • Maintain unified master dataset with version control, metadata, and reproducible pipelines • Track and compare data definitions across institutions, flag gaps • Produce visualizations and tables that withstand scrutiny from economists and policymakers • Compile annual comprehensive report on migration and wealth flows • Continuously discover new data sources and expand coverage • Deliver clean, well-structured datasets ready for publication
🎯 Requirements
• Strong scraping and data wrangling skills • Experience with public data APIs (UN DESA, OECD, World Bank, IMF, Eurostat) • Ability to reconcile conflicting sources and methodologies • Statistical fluency: time series, demographic modeling, flow reconciliation • Rigorous: verify every number, source every claim • Experience with AI tools for data extraction and automation preferred
