📋 Description

• Act as a technical lead across more than one business domain and vendor cloud platform • Analyze problems and administer cloud platforms • Understand and develop against functional and non-functional requirements • Design cloud strategies for infrastructure, platforms, and applications/services • Drive projects while adhering to established guiding principles, platforms, and standards • Serve as a cloud engineering subject matter expert and contribute to projects from inception through execution • Own deliverables related to DevOps, scripting, automated deployment, security, backup and recovery, monitoring, and support • Develop cloud strategies using AWS/Azure ecosystems and migrate enterprise infrastructure, applications, and data to hybrid or fully cloud-enabled practices • Contribute to 24x7x365 staff coverage across business and vendor cloud platforms • Develop security plans, testing, and maintenance • Contribute to and, when necessary, directly manage Managed Cloud Services • Perform automation, DevOps, and CI/CD activities • Implement infrastructure as code across AWS and Azure • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve failed services or technologies • Contribute to the technical knowledge base • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of solid experience with functional, technical, and integration-related topics • 5–7 years of infrastructure or software engineering experience • 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies/platforms and transformation • Development experience in AWS/Azure environments, including design and execution • Working knowledge of continuous integration and/or continuous deployment tools and scripting • Experience with infrastructure as code • Certified Solutions Architect on a major cloud platform such as AWS or Azure equivalent preferred • Additional security and network disciplines preferred • Experience with concise documentation and modeling activities • Ability to understand client requirements from technical descriptions and demonstrate implementation of functional and non-functional requirements • Ability to bridge technology knowledge gaps between IT and corporate teams, including business and product, compliance, security, legal, and procurement groups • Strong conceptual abilities and implementation of pragmatic methods and procedures • Ability to work in complex multinational/multicultural environments • Openness to new ideas and change, flexibility, adaptability, willingness to innovate, and unconventional thinking • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
