📋 Description

• Build highly scalable and resilient applications and infrastructure in AWS with other Site Reliability Engineers • Maintain and improve extensible infrastructure-as-code using Terraform • Learn, maintain, and improve existing deployment strategies • Deliver observability, monitoring, and alerting patterns for applications and infrastructure • Identify and resolve the root cause of production incidents as an escalation point • Assist in designing globally distributed systems and processes • Identify and correct deficiencies in applications and infrastructure • Define approaches and tailored solutions to complex technical problems • Lead projects with other Site Reliability Engineers and communicate progress to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus 5 years experience • Proficient authoring scripts in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Javascript • Experience designing and operating high-scale patterns in AWS • Experience building and designing repeatable workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD); GitLab is preferred • Excellent communication skills • Ability to self-manage time across competing projects • Ability to quickly understand and debug complex distributed systems • Training in secure coding practices is preferred • Confident writing in Python is preferred • AWS Cloud Certification(s) at Professional Level is preferred • GCP and/or Azure experience is preferred • Experience working for a public company is preferred • Open-source contributions or technical blog experience is preferred • Applicant assessment and background check may be part of the hiring procedure
