📋 Description

• Identify and plan future prevention for production incidents • Design globally distributed systems and processes for the organization • Identify deficiencies in current applications and infrastructure and correct them • Define tailored solutions to complex technical problems and share them with teammates • Make significant new contributions in technology, potentially resulting in patents, trade secrets, professional publications, or presentations • Translate KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans • Coordinate across functional boundaries • Act as team lead for larger sub-projects or entire small projects • Help ensure platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and efficient • Collaborate with engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment • Advance technologies running systems and improve safety and reliability of distributed services

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus 8 years experience • Proficient coding in multiple or unfamiliar programming languages, e.g. Python, Ruby, Javascript • Experience architecting intricate, high-scale patterns in AWS • Experience architecting repeatable workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD); GitLab preferred • Superb communication and documentation skills • Ability to self-manage time across competing projects • Ability to quickly understand, debug, and explain complex distributed systems • AWS Cloud Certification(s) - Associate Level • Training in secure coding practices preferred • AWS Cloud Certification(s) - Professional Level preferred • GCP and/or Azure preferred • Experience working for a public company preferred • Open-source contributions or technical blog experience preferred
