📋 Description

• Design and implement cloud-based network solutions using Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure • Manage and maintain network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues • Ensure high availability of network services • Manage network component lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, and migrations • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud services with on-premises systems • Develop and implement security solutions with the security team • Harden and secure cloud systems • Automate network provisioning and configuration tasks • Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements • Create and maintain network configuration and procedure documentation • Participate in an on-call rotation for network emergencies

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field • 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer focused on cloud-based solutions • Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, VNCs, VNets, and Direct Connect/Fast Connect/ExpressRoute • Experience with network security tools and technologies • Proficiency in scripting and automation, such as Python and PowerShell • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment • Preferred: Network certifications in Oracle OCI, AWS, or Azure • Ability to work with minimum supervision and deliver operational improvements
