• Design and deploy control systems, including programming and commissioning PLC code • Develop graphical user interfaces • Validate or emulate code functionality before deployment and on-site testing • Troubleshoot PLC code and electrical system functionality during on-site commissioning • Support equipment and system testing to ensure timely project completion • Collaborate with Electrical Engineering resources to define electrical device requirements • Support control network architecture design • Review complex customer standards, specifications, and documentation to determine system requirements • Contribute to cost and resource estimates for complex module development and commissioning activities • Execute software quality processes through module, subsystem, and system-level test procedures • Develop recommendations that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field • Five (5) years of work experience in the material handling or a related industry, or three (3) years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree • Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming (including GuardLogix) and Siemens TIA Portal programming (including Starter) • Experience with Ethernet/IP network architecture • Experience interpreting electrical schematics and solid understanding of HMI programming • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project management, engineering teams, installation crews, and external partners • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and external stakeholders • Ability to travel up to 40% annually, including short-term assignments with 10/4 rotations as project needs require • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
