📋 Description
• Own and elevate the end-to-end product design experience while leading a senior design function that reshapes how we create impactful, AI-driven learning products. • Shape and influence product vision, strategy, and cross-functional decision-making, ensuring design is a core driver in how we build products in the AI era • Lead, coach, and grow a team of senior product designers, building a high-performing design function that raises the bar on quality and impact • Partner closely with Product, Tech, and Pedagogy leadership to define solutions and priorities, ensuring strong alignment between user needs, business goals, and learning outcomes • Build and evolve scalable design practices and AI-enabled ways of working, increasing team efficiency, speed, and product quality • Own the end-to-end design quality and user experience, focusing efforts on the highest-impact opportunities while defining how UX is measured and contributing hands-on when needed
🎯 Requirements
• An experienced product design leader with a product-first mindset - able to think beyond design craft, identify high-impact opportunities, and prioritise based on user and business value • Deep passion for AI, with a drive to actively explore, challenge, and redefine how AI transforms product development, design roles, and ways of working • An entrepreneurial approach, thriving in ambiguity, taking ownership, and driving progress with speed • Strong leadership capability, able to challenge, inspire, and elevate a team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment • Strong communication skills, with genuine curiosity about people and a collaborative, low-ego approach, paired with the confidence to lead both teams and stakeholders
