📋 Description

• Own frontend features end-to-end, ensuring a high-performance experience for complex crypto tax data • Take deep ownership of Koinly’s data platform • Work across a modern React web application and a high-performance distributed data-processing backend • Expand scope to a React Native mobile app in the future • Optimize, refactor, and elevate the existing codebase • Deliver critical new features for a high-performance interface handling massive datasets and complex DeFi reconciliations • Work closely with Product as the primary frontend partner • Evaluate product ideas from a technical perspective and propose creative solutions • Own frontend strategy and make architectural decisions • Lead visual and UI responsibility, including visual hierarchy, layout consistency, micro-interactions, and component design • Write high-quality code and build intuitive, polished UI components • Take responsibility for outcomes and collaborate transparently in an autonomous, remote-first, async-first environment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with a focus on complex, data-heavy web applications • Deep understanding of modern, complex web application architecture and scalable design patterns • Strong attention to detail and advanced frontend styling skills • Reliable cross-browser behavior and pixel-level precision • Fluency with AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor • Expert-level TypeScript • Deep React experience, including React internals, performance optimization, and modern tooling • Production-level experience with React 19, React Compiler, modern TypeScript, TanStack Router/Query/Table, Radix UI, Mantine, Tailwind CSS v4, Vite, Vitest, Playwright, Storybook, Chromatic, Highcharts, Sentry, Bun, oxlint, Biome, csv-parse, SheetJS, node-html-parser, RabbitMQ, Redis/ioredis, PostgreSQL, Heroku, GitHub, and JIRA • Must be based in Europe, specifically EU or UK timezones; applications from outside Europe will not be reviewed • Background checks required before joining
