📋 Description
• Help design and build the backend infrastructure and APIs for a new mobile app • Enable a secure, reliable, and scalable system to serve members and operational teams • Own end-to-end delivery of complex features or critical workflows • Lead debugging of difficult production issues • Coach and unblock others; mentor other engineers • Champion engineering excellence (reliability, testing, maintainability) • Influence technical direction within the team: how to structure code, test, and operate
🎯 Requirements
• Fiveish years of web development with the likes of PHP & Laravel, Ruby & Rails, Elixir & Phoenix, etc • SQL and relational databases like MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL • Fast-paced startup environments • Automated unit/integration/behaviour/etc tests • Multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with designers, product management, data • Bonus point if you have: • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like VueJS, React, Tailwind, etc. If not, there’s no worry as long as you are open to learning!
