β’ Manage and mentor a team of archaeologists and project managers. β’ Serve as a technical reviewer for the reports and deliverables. β’ Support business development, including proposals, and client engagement. β’ Maintain strong relationships with government and private sector clients. β’ Lead and manage cultural resources projects, including scope, budget, and timelines. β’ Oversee NHPA compliance efforts and related documentation. β’ Ensure projects meet quality, regulatory, and client expectations. β’ Other duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelors degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related discipline β’ Masters degree required β’ Meets all Secretary of the Interiors Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology and/or Architectural History β’ Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) or ability to become an RPA β’ 10+ years environmental consulting experience (private industry) β’ Minimum 5+ years experience supervising staff β’ 5+ years experience preparing and developing proposals/pricing for competitive bids β’ Ability and willingness to participate/lead field work for up to 12 days at a time β’ Experience in development of competitive proposal efforts, including pricing surveys on a per-acre basis and analyzing risk β’ Direct experience working with government agencies including; USACE, NAVFAC, and other DOD agencies. β’ Experience working with civilian agencies is also required. β’ Experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reviews and providing documentation to aid in NEPA reports is desired but not required β’ Direct Project Management experience as a member of private industry
