📋 Description

• Design and implement robust services and libraries for payments integration across Kraken products • Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient code • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering on seamless feature integration and improvements • Work within a large-scale distributed systems architecture • Partner closely with crypto-native engineers • Support payments systems handling the first and last mile of digital and fiat funds entering or leaving Kraken

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering • Proficiency writing clean, scalable backend code in a systems language, preferably Rust or Node/Typescript • Security-first mindset when designing systems • Ability to autonomously debug issues across OS, network, and application layers • Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven systems • Applicants must select the country and city from which they will work • Must disclose whether work authorization sponsorship is needed in the work location
